Can the Duo get it Done?

New York Knicks at 3:30pm on ABC. This is there last chance to look respectable. I know we are going against a really tough team in the Miami Heat, but there is no reason that we aren’t scoring points in the fourth quarter. This has to change now. If not this off-season we need to look at trades to make this team compete better. With this team that is put together with Amar’e Stoudemire and Carmello Anthony, they just can’t seem to get over the hump!

  1. As a recently introduced viewer of the Knicks, their passion for winning is as clear as it is with all the NBA teams. Their drive isn't in question more so their team is; I must agree that changes must be made if they remotely want a dreaming chance of winning. And this is from an outside viewer that's heard the recent hype with Lin, the disappointment of Lebron and how Amar'e Stoudemire and Carmello Anthony have tried to keep it together. But if what you have isn't working its definitely time for a change, so that better results can follow.

  2. Fani, you are very correct about the Knicks. They want to win, but the pieces they have in place just can't get it done. I am a die hard Knick fan. Jeremy Lin will be a solid point guard in this league, but I just don't know if he will be a all-star point guard. If he can be this team can become a title contender. This is what hindered the Knicks this year. Not a point guard/general on the floor. Thanks for the comment.

  3. Jeremy lin still has a lot to learn to be a solid point guard in the NBA , his assist to turnover ratio is horrible. As a point guard myself i don't think he can do much for the Knicks

    1. Thanks Georgie for the comment. Lin does have a lot to learn. He will get there, but I'm not totally sold on him. He is a turnover machine. Averaging 6 turnovers per game is disgusting. If you ask me I want Derron Williams. We just can't afford him. So we have to stick with him for now. A lot of changes have to be made this summer.

    1. I agree Chris Paul is the best point guard. He makes everyone around him better. The reason for Derron Williams is because he doesn't know if he wants to stay with the Nets. So I was thinking about trading for him, but who wants Amar'e Stoudemire's contract. You can't give him away for Dorito's. The man has been injured.

    2. lmaoooooooo!!!! i completely agree man. I personally think that Amar'e lost it after the knee surgeries , he didn't exactly have the intimidation he had in his first couple years in phoenix.

    3. So true.. that is why the Knicks have to look else where. I don't even want Dwight Howard now with that back. That would catch up with us if we do trade for him. You see the luck the Knicks have in the past 10 years. That will blow up in our face. Can I say Eddy Curry. He robbed us for $50 million. LEGALLY

    5. Lol, that is funny. He is damn close to Kwame Brown. But that man really was a thief. He would be America's Most Wanted, how much Kwame stole money. Skill wise Eddy was better. Just couldn't stay in shape and had too much personal issues in his life. Hey but the Heat always takes the Knicks left overs. Turiaf, Curry.. Shall I keep going

  5. doesn't matter who takes the left overs have you noticed anyone who goes to the knicks ends up hurting their careers
