Not a Man we can Ever Trust Again

You guys know I’m not a big cyclist fan, but Lance Armstrong is a big name and its ground breaking news, so I’m bringing it to you in my style of fashion. Armstrong finally came out to the world and admitted that he’s been doping for years and his Tour de France titles all contributed to his performance-enhancement usage.
For years there have been cyclists coming out and expressing their frustration towards Armstrong for cheating the game and contending that he isn’t winning fairly; and they were all right. There have been whispers and reports coming out for years of Armstrong maybe cheating the sport to win those titles, but the country was amazed of how a cancer survivor can come back and wins so impressively.
Now it all has come and hit Armstrong like a bulldozer as he has to finally let the world know that he’s a cheat and how ashamed he is. I mean, this comes as no surprise because the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency has stripped him from everything and banned him for life from the sport. So I think that Armstrong lost it all and now feels that it’s the right time to speak up. Heard the interview where he says his son made him finally come out and come clean. Seriously?
I highly doubt that a teenager can make you change your tune after all the years of lie, cheating and stepping on others to get to the top. With endorsement deals on the line and millions to lose, a child just doesn’t have that power for a cheat like Armstrong. When money and everything you use to have is gone then you decide to come clean. I will say, too little too late Armstrong! The only thing I can say about this man is that he founded a great foundation called Livestrong that has changed many lives due to cancer. His foundation has raised over $475 million.
Armstrong now has a lot of heat on him and not just from the public and sport but the people he damaged emotionally and financially. They all will be looking for retribution from Armstrong. There will be many lawsuits to follow in the coming weeks and I don’t know if Armstrong can stand the hands of time. We also know that this man won’t be trusted ever again in sports and maybe life. What do you think of this scandal?
