Is it the fame and money? It could be, but that’s what you sign up for when you go pro. The problem with the NBA and many other professional sports out there is that they see the signs of players like this and sometimes they dismiss them because they think that they can change or that they won’t do that in there league. Well I’m here to tell you that they will definitely be a problem as Cousins exudes those actions in the league. I’m just confused why the league, team and David Stern haven’t reached out to Cousins and demand him to undergo anger management classes because this man is angry as hell.
I don’t know what he’s
been through in his life but he’s in a special position that many young and
older guys wish that they were in. This is a young talented player from the
University of Kentucky and if changes in his behavior can be a superstar
center. If not, he will be ousted from the NBA and become a 25, 26 year old
player that is broke and looking for work. I’ve seen it before and I guess
Cousins doesn’t think it will happen to him, but I can tell you he’s going down
that road right now. When you see him play you can see some bright spots with
him but when he hears something that he doesn’t like; get out of the way
because he will let you have it.
The Sacramento Kings
would be crazy to keep him beyond this year. I see them shipping him off to
another team by the deadline. I’m hearing the Boston Celtics and other teams
right now but nothing concrete. It’s been years where you’ve heard of a young
talented player like Cousins suspended at least 3 times in the season and it’s
still young. This is a shame and I hope people will reach out to him and try to
get him on the right path. I just hate to see this become more of a mess then
it already is. Do you think Cousins will have a long career in the NBA?
Great article. Yeah, that dude a problem good and bad.he just need a coach that he will respect.
ReplyDeleteThanks Haynes,
DeleteCousins has a big problem with authority and that only goes so far. It just sucks because he can be a very great player if he changes his attitude and become coachable.
