Yesterday was the official day of the 2012 Olympics in London. Many athletes, actors and entertainers from around the world came in to see the games and they definitely got their money’s worth. With many games that were displayed yesterday you can tell that we are in for a competitive and entertaining Olympics this year. With Soccer, Track & Field, Swimming, Basketball, Tennis, Gymnastics and many others this will be one to remember. Michael Phelps just barely getting into the finals, he will try to gather another gold medal under his belt.
I want everyone to support this year’s Olympics by watching it on NBC. Let’s show the world that American sports can win the gold. Of course we will have many obstacles and competitions to get past, but I think we can do it. Roger Federer is making the Olympics a highly televised showing after his win in the Wimbledon. I can say guys that I’m already enjoying these games and the more I get older and understand sports on a much higher level; I can definitely appreciate what these athletes do for us. Much respect to all that are representing the United States. Let’s bring the gold home.
